About Me

Hi, I’m Naomi.

There’s nothing more personal than your wedding day, so I’d like to share a bit about myself before you say “yes” to the officiant.

I’m currently in school pursuing a degree in psychology, with a special interest in interpersonal relationships. My long-term goal is to focus on couples and family psychology and eventually earn my doctorate. I also work full-time in graduate medical education for a combined residency program, a role I absolutely adore.

When I’m not studying, working, or officiating your wedding, you’ll usually find me outdoors hiking, running, biking, and paddle boarding, or at the gym. My favorite way to spend downtime is to snug up with my dog, Rye, and binge a good show.

My family and friends mean the world to me, and they’re the reason I started this journey. When my niece and her fiancé (now husband!) asked me to officiate their wedding, I was honestly terrified, but of course, because i love them, I said yes! I knew I’d cherish being part of their day, but I never expected how much I’d enjoy having a leading role. (And from what I’ve heard, I was pretty good at it too!) That experience sparked something in me, and here I am.

At heart, I’m a hopeless romantic and a huge fan of love.

FAQ

Do you perform ceremonies for all couples?

Absolutely! All love stories are welcome and celebrated. I’m honored to officiate for couples of every background and identity.

What kinds of ceremonies do you offer?

I’m an ordained minister through the American Marriage Ministries (AMM) and can officiate religious, non-religious, or fully personalized ceremonies. I will work with you to create a ceremony that reflects your unique story, and incorporates any meaningful rituals.

Can we write our own vows?

Yes! If you choose to write you’re own vows I’m happy to guide you through the process if you’d like support, or give you space to create your own.

How far in advance should we book?

As soon as possible! Dates can fill quickly, but I’m always willing and happy to work with you on last minute requests if i’m available.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, I will travel for weddings and am excited to hear about your plans. We can chat about the details and make sure everything will work smoothly for your special day.

How long is a typical ceremony?

Most ceremonies are 20–30 minutes, but I’ll work with you to shape the perfect length for your needs.

What if we want something unique?

Perfect! Your ceremony should feel like you. I love weaving in personal stories, traditions, or creative touches.

What happens at the “First Look” meeting?

It’s a free, no-pressure chat to see if we’re the right fit and to start talking about your vision. This meeting can take place in-person or via Zoom.

Do you handle the marriage license?

Yes! I’ll guide you through the process and make sure everything is legally signed and submitted.

What are your fees?

I’ll share package details after our “First Look” meeting. Transparency and fairness are important to me.

What will you wear?

My default attire is a black dress, keeping the look classic and professional. If you’d like me to wear a specific color, I’m happy to accommodate special requests.
